Since 1972, Tri Tool has trained thousands of UA craftspeople with the safe and proper use of portable machine tools. In 2001, the UA sanctioned and implemented a UA Certified Training Course at their annual UA Instructor’s Training Program in Ann Arbor, MI on the campus of Washtenaw Community College. This course is titled, UA Course 279, UA Certified, Machine Cutting, Severing and Beveling. In addition to this course, Tri Tool Power Services continues to be the leading UA NSA Signatory (specialty) company who utilizes UA members for implementation of our quality weld prep operations required to support all of TPS’s UA jurisdictional work. Working with our UA Training Department partners, Tri Tool continues to invest in welder qualification and certification prior to project mobilization to ensure customer satisfaction with manual and/or orbital welding quality and production.
