RANCHO CORDOVA — Tri Tool has announced today the selection of Sara Henson as the new Vice President of Field Services. 

Henson will oversee Tri Tool’s global team of field service machinists and field service business, which includes tenders, solution development, and project management and execution. Currently, Tri Tool has over 30 field service machinists, with a specialized crew actively working on an oil boat off the coast of Nigeria. Henson will be directly responsible for implementing and ensuring best practice methodologies and programs to support safe service performance, as well as developing efficient operations with goals of first pass quality and on-time services to ensure that Tri Tool continues to deliver high performance standards and excellence in customer service. 

Henson brings over 12 years of experience in welding engineering and the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Tri Tool, she led off-shore oil and gas projects within the Oil States Industries and she is a degreed welding engineer from The Ohio State University. Through her various positions, Henson has been a customer of Tri Tool, which enables her to better understand and connect with client expectations and needs.  

Henson holds a Master’s in Engineering Management from Penn State and is a longtime member of the American Welding Society. She also holds a Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
