Did you know? Tri Tool can provide special coatings and resharpening for tool bits.

Tri Tool can provide bits with special coatings when requested.

When you order different bits, they may not always be the same color. Sometimes, a specific coating may be applied to improve the bit’s performance for its intended role. Bits may be a natural
metal color, shiny gold, dull or silvery gold, a bluish gray or dark gray. Some bits, like the legendary DURABIT squaring bit are always coated. The bottom line is that coatings can be applied to
any bits to better satisfy customers’ requirements.

Our knowledgeable tool bit support staff can assist you with any special request coatings you desire on your tool bit orders. They can also get you your tool bits as sharp as ever with our Resharp program.

Our easy, cost-effective Resharp Program helps you recover tooling costs.

Using fresh, sharp, tool bits with a good leading edge is the key to obtaining repeatable machining precision with high-performance TRI TOOL® equipment.

Our goal with this program is to save our customers money on tooling, but not at the expense of cutting performance or safety. We will make every effort to ensure you get the maximum value from our quality manufactured bits.

Visit Tri Tool’s web page. Fill out and submit the Tool Bit Resharp Form. A confirmation email will be sent to you when your form is received. Print two copies of the confirmation email (one for your records and one to include inside the box with your tool bits). Package your tool bits in need of resharpening and send to the address provided in the confirmation email. Package them carefully to avoid damage to the bits, people handling them, or the return packaging. Typical turnaround time is one week from receipt of your bits.
