Alex Muhs Promoted to Head of Operations at Tri Tool

In his new role, Alex will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations while maintaining Tri Tool’s long-standing reputation of high-quality service, on-time delivery, value-based cost and uncompromising partnership. Under Alex’s leadership, Tri Tool looks to diversify and expand its manufacturing capabilities and further grow the business among aerospace, defense, semiconductor, power generation, and life science sectors that rely on ultra-high precision manufacturing expertise.
Alex is an accomplished, results-driven business leader with a track record of improving performance in all facets of an operation. He joins the Manufacturing Operations group from Tri Tool’s Sales Organization, where he provided strategic guidance, operational expertise, and sales and customer service support. Additionally, Alex brings nearly 20 years of experience in management roles, working in various positions in operations leadership, program management, engineering, Lean Six Sigma, quality assurance, and global distribution, with specialization in production machining, electromechanical assembly, and tool design and fabrication.
While earning his bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan, Alex worked at Ford Motor Company’s Livonia Transmission plant. He then joined Lockheed Martin’s Operations Leadership Development Program, where he led production operations for the HELLFIRE, PAC3, and THADD weapons systems programs. Later, he transitioned to the EWIE Group of Companies, becoming a business unit manager for key customers throughout North America.
